A rabbi has recounted the occasion when a man tried to force his way into his Manchester house of worship during a fatal attack, saying "I observed evil, I saw animosity".

Rabbi Daniel Walker mentioned that he and others held the doors of the temple as the assailant was "forcing the doors, throwing heavy plant pots, attempting whatever he could to get in".

Praising the quick-thinking of those at the temple, he said: "I saw true bravery, I must admit, and individuals who ran to aid others rather than escaping. It was remarkable."

Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66, both died after the attacker drove into pedestrians and attacked a individual on that day.
